What motivated you to MOD your Maxima?

Always drove manuals all my life. I had a 96′ Maxima that was too far gone to mod so I decided to go with a newer model. After driving the CVT for a few years, I realized that the car had way more potential. I started researching on what needed to be done to convert it to manual. Never regretted a day for swapping in the manual. Adding a turbo was a bonus and turned the car in a real sleeper. The car made 404 WHP / 393 TQ @ 6 PSI. – Catalin Vint

The total cost of the 6-speed swap from Platinum Auto Works is $11,000. This is only for the 6-speed swap (NOT Turbo or the whole car with swap). It includes everything all the way up to the interior conversion. The 6-speed swap will not trigger any “Check Engine Lights (CEL)” codes and will pass inspection/emissions GUARANTEED!
