Double Header – frustrated from the 1st event. Lost out to 1st place by 0.200 to a 370z. Head wasn’t in the game and ran slower than earlier in the day. Many small errors I picked up on and corrected on Day 2 with a modified layout. Day 2 my driver side axle stub sheared on my final hot lap of qualifying going into final which marks the first time in 5 years that I could not drive the car back home under its own power. A small problem to have in the bigger picture of things. Only cost me an axle, a wheel bearing, rotor resurface and an alignment. Much better than having the wheel flop off the car and causing god knows what. Next event August.
